
First Amendment Torn – 1984’s American Version is a collage featuring text and images related to political themes, including references to censorship, government, and societal issues. Various elements such as a flamingo and the US AG’s face, Pam Bondi, are combined with newspaper clippings and handwritten notes.
How could such a small group of people in power destroy the First Amendment, affecting the larger population for their own control over the enormity of America’s population? Hence, George Orwell’s 1984 book.
