Got your attention! ?
Then, let me introduce you to a show you must attend! Because it’s freakin’ free!

It’s being put on by the Lake Wales Arts Council in one of central Florida’s most progressively improving cities, dead in the middle of Polk County, around the intersection Routes 27 & 60.
The exhibit is about size, to be sure, but not the one you may thinking matters. <wink> According to the Council, the exhibit is “an intriguing exploration into the powerful role of scale in artistic expression.”
It’s a membership exhibit, wherein each artist member of the Arts Council got to enter up to two pieces each for the show. Many will be huge pieces and a few will be small, like my pieces.
I pulled together and entered two collages. One I named 80+OIL=WAR. The other, Amendment V – The Original AntiFa. Below are descriptions of each one. Come on out to Lake Wales, March 26, to see them in person.
80+OIL=WAR
80+ people were killed in the Caribbean since September 2025 by the United States, a very small number in war. They were killed over an issue far bigger than their lives were worth, oil. This is an example in reverse: a large country attacks a smaller country for their resources.
the Original AntiFa
How one small, single lie, has pit us against each other, the lie that Amendment V can just be suspended, while demonizing the larger population into believing AntiFa is a terrorist organization. Due process of law is foundational to AntiFa’s origins. Amendment V protects many. To take that away is to divide the nation for the perpetual enrichment of a very small economic class, part and parcel of fascism.
At the upcoming Size Matters 0pening, you will have the unique opportunity to witness the breadth of local creativity and the innovative ways artists manipulate scale to convey meaning and evoke feeling. Put it on your calendar: Thursday, March 26.
