My Red Heartland Soho

Heartland Soho Shed Before Stained Glass

My red Heartland Soho was perfect for the 100+ year old property I own in Davenport except for one thing: those windows. Having to locate it in a very sunny spot in the exceptionally hot Florida weather allowed tremendous sunlight into it all day long. Those windows! I needed a solution.

I went to my artistic talent and my wife’s ability to put stained glass designs together. I began to work on a tree, a special She-Shed Tree, with long branches extending right into the next window. By the last window, the viewer will see that one window appears to continue into the next.

The first window, the one on the top-left side of the photograph above. There is the start. Below? There is the top of said She-Shed Tree angling right.
